Lukasz Trade — lukasztrade.com

Challenge

Lukasz Trade is a marketplace, not a store. It spans more than fifteen top-level categories — fashion, electronics, jewellery, automotive, home, toys, sportswear and more — each with its own subcategory tree, and it onboards third-party sellers. Catalogue breadth on that scale creates a navigation problem before it creates a merchandising one: a shopper who cannot find the category leaves before any product has a chance.

Solution

We built a deep but navigable taxonomy, with mega-menu category browsing, trending search prompts and a category selector on search so shoppers can narrow before they query. Full marketplace infrastructure sits underneath — seller onboarding, accounts, wishlist, product comparison, cart and order tracking. Merchandising surfaces such as deal-of-the-day, seasonal sales and member offers give the operators a way to promote across a catalogue too large to feature evenly.

Technology

  • WordPress
  • WooCommerce
  • PHP
  • Multi-vendor seller onboarding
  • Wishlist & product comparison
  • Order tracking
  • Responsive front-end

Outcome

The marketplace operates across a large multi-category catalogue with third-party sellers, giving shoppers a way to narrow down quickly and operators a set of merchandising surfaces that work at catalogue scale.
