Privacy Policy

Last updated 16 August 2026.

This policy explains what information OceanStrive ("we", "us") collects through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to https://oceanstrive.com and does not cover any third-party website we link to.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the Start a Project form or contact us directly, we collect the details you choose to provide: your name, company name, email address, and optionally your phone or WhatsApp number, country, industry, company website, business stage, requirements, budget range, timeline and how you heard about us.

Information collected automatically

Our web server records standard technical information with each request, including your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. Where analytics are enabled, a third-party analytics provider may set cookies to measure how the site is used. Where advertising measurement is enabled, an advertising platform may set cookies to attribute conversions.

We store your IP address and browser user agent alongside form submissions as a safeguard against automated abuse.

Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and discuss potential work.
  • To provide services you have engaged us for.
  • To understand how the website is used, so we can improve it.
  • To protect the website against spam and automated abuse.
  • To meet legal, accounting or regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Marketing

Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a mailing list. If we ever introduce marketing email, it will be opt-in and every message will carry an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We share information only with providers that help us operate, and only as far as they need it: our web hosting provider, our email provider, and — where enabled — our analytics and advertising measurement providers. Each processes data under its own terms. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are retained for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of business correspondence, and are then deleted. Client records are retained for the duration of the engagement and for any period required by law afterwards. Server logs are retained on our host's standard cycle.

Cookies

This website sets a session cookie when you use the inquiry form; it is required for the form to work securely and carries no marketing data. Any additional cookies come from the analytics or advertising tools described above, and only when those are enabled. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though doing so may affect how the form behaves.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw consent you previously gave. To make a request, email hello@oceanstrive.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the period the applicable law requires.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections and restricted access to submitted enquiries. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

International transfers

We work with clients internationally, so your information may be processed in a country other than your own. Where that happens we take steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with this policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
