Kamvin — kamvin.com

Challenge

Kamvin is a direct-to-consumer menswear brand selling t-shirts, polos, jackets and tops across streetwear, menswear and casual collections. Apparel e-commerce lives or dies on browsing speed and merchandising: shoppers move through many products quickly, and any lag between taps costs the session. The brand also runs promotional codes and shipping thresholds continuously, so discounting had to be part of the architecture rather than a plugin bolted on later.

Solution

We built the storefront on a React front-end over a Node service layer, so category browsing and product views transition without full page reloads. Collections are organised by the way the brand actually merchandises — streetwear, menswear, casuals — rather than by garment type alone. Promotion mechanics, discount codes and free-shipping thresholds are built into the cart and checkout logic, and order history and tracking give repeat customers a reason to return to an account rather than a receipt email.

Technology

  • React
  • Node.js / Express
  • Nginx
  • Cart & checkout with promotion logic
  • Order tracking
  • Responsive front-end

Outcome

Kamvin launched a fast, app-like browsing experience across its collections, with discounting and shipping thresholds handled natively in the checkout and a returning-customer path through order history and tracking.

What We Delivered

The parts that did the work.

The specific pieces that made the difference for Kamvin.

  • React storefront with no full page reloads between products

  • Order history and tracking for repeat customers
  • Full policy framework — returns, shipping, terms and privacy

Industry Context

Fashion & Apparel

Fashion e-commerce is won on merchandising and returned on sizing. The store has to make browsing feel effortless, give buyers enough confidence to commit, and make the second purchase easier than the first.
